Why Blue Meanie?
Psilocybe cubensis var. Blue Meanie is sometimes the misunderstood magic mushroom. “Blue Meanie” also happens to the name of a Panaeolus cyanescens that has been around long before this Psilocybe cubensis. They are most certainly not related. Blue Meanie, the cubensis variety, was first created and rebranded by a mycologist known as “The Keeper.” This varietal was allegedly harvested in Australia, and after the spores were isolated, the new Psilocybe cubensis var. Blue Meanie was created.

The Blue Meanie magic mushroom (Psilocybe cubensis) is not found in the wild and is often mistaken for Panaeolus cyanescens var. Blue Meanie, which are located in various subtropical regions of the world.
