Description
A wild specimen collected and printed by mycologist “BIO” in 2000, this Cubensis variety was found growing in the northern mountain regions of Ecuador near Otavalo at an altitude of roughly 10,000 ft. Ecuador quickly gained popularity among researchers because of its size and heavy spore production.
As is common with most South American Cubensis varieties, Ecuador frequently produces larger than average caps that are light brown along with tall, thick stems.
Ecuador is suitable for spore researchers of all experience levels.
