Illusion Weaver cubensis mushrooms have increased in popularity in the last decade. There is much speculation on the origin of this unique and rare mushroom. The most commonly told history involves a wild specimen harvested in FL by “The Keeper.” Supposedly, The Keeper perfected this strain and decided that it earned the name worthy of Illusion Weaver. Over time the genetics made their way to “Blue Cat” and “Texas Kubensis King.” PNW Spore were lucky enough to acquire these genetics some time ago, and couldn’t be more excited to make it available for your spore collection.

All spore syringe production takes place in our clean-room laboratories in front of laminar flow hoods, using laboratory-grade borosilicate glassware, surgical steel tools, and medical-grade syringes and tip caps. Our equipment, tools, and work surfaces are kept clean using both UVC and autoclave sterilization.

Spore Strain Origin

It is said that Illusion Weaver was first harvested in FL by “The Keeper,” who diligently worked to perfect the strain, as well as giving it the name. Recent genetics of this strain can be credited to “Blue Cat” and “Texas Kubensis King.”

Illusion Weaver in the Wild

While sharing very similar characteristics to other cubensis mushrooms, Illusion Weaver has been observed to have smaller to medium sized caramel colored caps, atop solid white stems that bend and weave, and can grow longer than other Psilocybe cubensis strains.

Mushroom Spore Features

Illusion Weaver mushroom spores drop not nearly as many spores compared to other cubensis strains due to the smaller caps produced at maturity. The smaller to medium-sized prints are dark brown and can be dense.
