Jedi Mind F*ck magic mushroom spores, also known as Jedi MF or JMF, have become an extremely popular mushroom cultivar for mycologists. The origin story of Jedi is somewhat of a mystery. The most widely known account is that “Myco Joe” or “Agar Joe” set out in Georgia, USA to find an exceptional species of cubensis mushroom and came across the first Jedi Mind F*ck specimen growing from dung. Another rumor is that “The Keeper,” a controversial figure in the mycology community for marketing unconfirmed genetics and exorbitant pricing, either created, or possibly rebranded JMF.

Jedi lives up to the implied power of the sci-fi characters in Star Wars with its physical characteristics and studied potency of psilocybin. These fruits create conical golden-brown caps that flatten with maturity, atop thick white stems. JMF has been known to create huge individual specimens, which in turn, can create very large and dense spore prints that are dark purple to almost black.

Spore Strain Origin

The origin and discovery of JMF magic mushrooms is somewhat of a mystery. Jedi Mind Fuck is a psilocybin producing magic mushroom, belonging to the Psilocybe cubensis species, and is one of the more widespread psychedelic mushrooms. Some claim that is was originally found in the wild in Georgia, USA by “Agar Joe” or “Myco Joe.” Others believe the controversial figure in the mycology community, “The Keeper”, created or possibly rebranded JMF.

Jedi Mind Fuck in the Wild

The lineage of JMF remains unknown, but can be found producing medium to large fruits, with the occasional giant, however there is no evidence that it can be found growing in the wild.
