Along with Mexican mushrooms, Mazatapec cubensis make up the native species of Mexico. You can find this hardy strain growing in the wild from the Oaxaca state of Mexico to deep southern Mexico.
Mazatapec magic mushrooms produce dark purplish-brown spore prints with sub-ellipsoid spores. The fruit they produce can feature creamy brown to dark caramel brown caps and medium stems.
