This Cubensis variety was originally collected by “Baerbel” in the village of Sauraha near the Chitwan Jungle of Nepal. He stated that “Three specimens were located in otherwise dry climate conditions and shaded by a nearby tree. Specimens were picked from what appeared to be either elephant or rhino dung.”
Nepal, Chitwan produces medium to large fruits, displaying brown caps that fade to light brown or cream with maturity and thick, sturdy stems.
