Description
A great choice for a beginner in microscopic research, the PF Classic strain is named after the legendary mushroom cultivator Robert “Billy” Mcpherson (AKA Psilocybe Fanacticus). Macpherson developed the strain for use in combination with his famous “PF Tek” growing method, which he released to the world in 1991.
PF Classic’s visual characteristics are often exemplary of an “ideal” Psilocybe Cubensis; large fruiting bodies with thick, long, dense stalks, a golden reddish cap and classic deep blue bruising. Its mycelium is exceptionally fast-colonizing, rhizomorphic, and resistant to contamination due to the decades of isolation/refinement that the genome has undergone.
