Purple Mystic in the Wild
This cubensis has been found growing in pastures in East Plant City, FL from both bovine and equine dung, and is identifiable by the purple ring that develops around the cap when found in the wild.
Mushroom Spore Features
Purple Mystic magic mushroom spores are also known for their deep dark purple color. When making multispore syringes, the spore prints of these psilocybin producing mushrooms can turn the sterilized H2O a brilliant purple tint. The spores are sub-ellispoid and 10-12 by 8 micrometers on 4-sided basidia.
