Rusty Whyte is a result of the hybridization of the Albino A+ and Colombian Rust Spore Cubensis varieties.

The creation of Rusty Whyte began in 2014 by a mycologist known as “PastyWhyte”. This hybrid variety was completed and distributed in late 2018 and quickly gained popularity among members of the mycology community.

Named for its lack of pigmentation and rust-colored spore deposit, Rusty Whyte produces dense clusters of medium-sized fruits with cream-colored caps and long, uniform stems.

Rusty Whyte is suitable for the intermediate spore researcher.

Item contents: Generously filled 10cc syringe and a 1.5” 20 gauge sterile dispensing needle.

Haven’t had the pleasure of examining the product under the microscope yet, but if it’s good enough for PNWS, it’s good enough for me. Very trustworthy.

Thanks for your continuous trust in us during your microscopy research journey!

So far 1 was a waste. Ape revert was not clean. Hillbilly was cool. Haven't not studied the blue meanie or rusty white. Filled out the email review once already but my review wasn't posted on the site. Since I receive an email about the review I would expect it be actually be posted. After noticing review filtering I will not probably shop with a different vendor next time.

Hi Joe, we do publish reviews to the site, but sometimes we get backlogged a bit. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are always happy and willing to do our part in ensuring you have a positive microscopy research experience with our spores. APE-revert is new on our site and has been very popular with all previous feedback for this cultivar has been positive. There are so many variables to this type of research, it is essential that we take note - and we do! Please email us at so we can assist you.
