Texas Orange Cap in the Wild

This psilocybin producing magic mushroom is actually a unique mutation of the Texas strain of Psilocybe cubensis. A cultivator noticed certain mushrooms had a unique orange colored cap and stabilized these genetics.

Mushroom Spore Features

Texas OC spores are purple to brownish in color, and are sub-ellipsoid in shape, while present on 4-sided basidia.
