Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor)
$17.99
Turkey Tail, or Trametes Versicolor, is a beautiful, multi-colored medicinal mushroom named for its concentric brown and tan rings, resembling the tail feathers of a turkey. Trametes Versicolor is one of the most well-researched, widely used mushrooms for its potential health benefits, and can be found growing on dead logs around the world. Studies have shown promising evidence that Turkey Tail may stimulate cytokine production which can boost immune function by increasing NK cells in the body. NK or “natural killer” cells kill tumor cells as well as cells infected by viruses. Turkey Tail also contains potential immune boosting polysaccharides, phenols, and flavonoids, which aid in inflammation, combating HPV, antibacterial properties, type 2 diabetes, and gut health support. It has also been suggested that it can improve athletic performance.* This is typically taken in powder form as a nutritional and health supplement.

Thanks for the great review, Michael!
Great website, great mycology information, easy ordering - will use again
Thank you for the amazing review, William!
The turkey tail mycelium populated quickly and was very robust. After about 10 days I moved to wood block using oak and soy hull. I am very happy how well it did with the grain spawn and had no contamination issues.
