How quickly do you ship out orders and what shipping method do you use?

All spore syringe orders are normally processed and shipped M-F within 24-48 hours of placing your order unless otherwise specified. We ship USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail. You can expect your package in 2-5 business days. Tracking is included. Microscopy supplies normally ship in 5-7 business days.

What is the best way to contact you with questions about my order?

Please note: we are a research website and will not answer questions about cultivation. Any communication that implies intent to harvest or cultivate Cubensis mushrooms will result in the cancellation and refund of your order. Additionally, future attempts to purchase from us will be denied.

How will my order be packaged?

Your order will arrive from “PNWSC” in a discreet 8x6x2 corrugated box. Within your order, each spore syringe is individually packaged and sealed. Please hold your syringe up to the light and inspect it before removing it from the sealed package.

Will I be notified when my order ships?

Yes, you will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships. Please be aware that some email service providers such as Hotmail, yahoo, proton mail, AOL, etc. have a tendency to push automated emails to spam or reject them altogether.

*Please Note: USPS (and other carriers) are frequently experiencing delayed transit times, as well as slower tracking updates. Please know that we work hard to fulfill your order M-F within 24-48 hours of placement in an effort to minimize any delay you may experience.

What is included with my order?

Your order will include the generously filled individually packaged 10cc spore syringe(s), individually packaged dispensing needle(s), alcohol prep pad(s), and an informational thank-you note and syringe storage tips.

My package was lost or damaged, what should I do?

Please consult your local post office if your package was lost or damaged in transit. We provide tracking information so you can follow your order once it leaves our facility.

Please double-check the shipping address you have provided before submitting your order. Shipping information is automatically imported. Items returned or lost due to incorrect or invalid/undeliverable address information will not be refunded, but can be resent for an additional shipping fee of $8.

Is there a minimum required age to order your products?

Yes, you must be 18 years or older to order our products.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to the United States and Canada.

What is your return or refund policy?

We guarantee or spore syringes.  Please inspect your syringe(s) carefully before removing them from the sealed package. If you have questions about the varied appearance of our spore syringes, please visit our Superior Quality page for visual representations and information. While our track record is excellent, spores are living organisms, and by nature cannot be completely sterile. If you suspect there is a problem with your syringe, please contact us at support [at] pnwspore.com within 7 days of receiving your order and before removing the syringe(s) from its package. If it is determined a replacement is needed, we will immediately ship the replacement. In some cases, we will include a prepaid return postage label and request the syringe in question be sent back to us.

We stand by the quality of our product and strive to exceed your expectations while providing a premium quality microscopy specimen. We happily replace spore syringes if necessary.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN OR REFUND POLICY for Microscopy equipment, books, and accessories?

Microscopes need to be returned to the manufacturer, according to their instructions. Unopened books and microscopy accessories can be returned to us within 30 days of order placement, less the cost of shipping and a 10% restocking fee.

Do you ship Psilocybe spores to residents of  California, Georgia or Idaho?

No. Orders placed for Psilocybe spores with shipping addresses to California, Georgia, or Idaho are not accepted. State law may restrict possession of mushrooms spores without first receiving proper permissions from the applicable state agricultural or research advisory agency. If you would like to order books, research supplies, and gourmet or medicinal cultures, please email us at sales [at] pnwspore.com and we will process your order manually.

Is my personal information and credit card data kept safe?

Yes. We take our customer’s privacy seriously. All credit card transactions processed through our website are secured using 256-bit SSL encryption. We will never sell or distribute your personal information. For additional information visit our Privacy Policy page.

How do I view my spores using a microscope?

Using the dispensing needle provided, place a small drop of spore solution on your microscope slide, then place the slipcover on top. Your spore specimen is best viewed at 400x magnification.

What is the best way to store spore syringes?

Spore syringes can be stored at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, but last significantly longer when kept inside the original, sealed plastic bag and placed in the refrigerator. Spore syringes should NOT be stored in the freezer as this will damage the syringe. For more information, please see our Spore Storage page.

Can you answer questions regarding the use of spores for anything other than microscopy?

Our spore syringes are for microscopy purposes only. Under no circumstances will we answer questions regarding the use of our products for purposes other than microscopy.

I think my spore syringe may be contaminated, what should I do?

If you have questions about the varied appearance of our spore syringes, please visit our Superior Quality page for visual representations and information. While our track record is excellent, spores are living organisms, and by nature cannot be completely sterile. If you suspect there is a problem with your syringe, please contact us at sales@pnwspore.com within 7 days of receiving your order and before removing the syringe(s) from its package. If it is determined a replacement is needed, it will be shipped immediately. In some cases, we will include a prepaid return postage label and request the syringe in question be sent back to us.
