Penis Envy #6 is another iteration of the original Psilocybe cubensis var. Penis Envy. This strain is a combination of a “Texas” cubensis and Penis Envy. The new variety retains much of the physical characteristics of Penis Envy, especially in the early stages of fruiting.

PE is aptly named for the phallic-shaped fruit that “pops up.” However, PE #6 caps will open with maturity, discard their veil which protects the spores on the underside of the cap, and produce beautiful spore prints much more regularly than its parent, Penis Envy.

Well-known mycologist Marc R. Keith (AKA “RogerRabbit”) is responsible for this fantastic hybrid, as well as being a long-time contributor and moderator for theshroomery.org, and owner of Mountain Mushroom Farm.

Penis Envy 6 magic mushrooms were created by the well-known mycologist, “RogerRabbit.” By breeding the original Penis Envy with a “Texas” cubensis, the new variety was able to retain the characteristics of Penis Envy, but whose caps opened and dropped spores. Interestingly, RogerRabbit was in the process of perfecting the strain when its prints were accidently released after being sent to a fellow mycologist.
PE 6 is a psilocybin producing magic mushroom that does not occur naturally in the wild, but cultivated to offer a Penis Envy cultivar that dropped spores.
PE 6 is a great variety for microscopy research purposes and is known to produce very large caps ranging from dark to light brown. Its stems are thick and dense; much like the original Penis Envy.
Penis Envy 6 is a more challenging magic mushroom spore to research due to its Penis Envy genetics, and is suitable for intermediate to advanced experience levels.
