In 2021, inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s natural surroundings (renowned for their fungal diversity and home to some of the richest temperate rainforests on Earth!), I recognized a gap in the mycology community. As a dedicated hobbyist myself, I knew firsthand the frustration of inconsistent quality, poor customer service, and lack of attention to detail that plagued the industry.
