Spore Strain Origin

Burma magic mushrooms originate from Southeastern Asia, in Myanmar (Burma until 1989), a country between Thailand and India. The Strain is thought to have been collected from buffalo dung in a rice paddy by a Thai student. Furthermore, it is thought that student gave the sample to John W. Allen, who has been credited for discovering several Psilocybe mushrooms and bringing them to the west in the 1990’s.

Burma in the Wild

This Burma cubensis grows in warm, moist environments, in the country of Myanmar. They are often found near bodies of water or forests.
