Lizard King magic mushrooms are a psilocybin producing mushroom that was discovered growing abundantly in the state of Georgia on an equestrian farm. They are also unique in that it can be found growing in both wood chip and dung, displaying a unique ability to thrive in different environments.

Spore Strain Origin

Discovered by and named after a mycologist known as “Lizard King,” this cubensis variety comes from a wild specimen found growing on a mixture of manure and wood chips at an equestrian park in the state of Georgia.

Lizard King magic mushrooms are a psilocybin producing mushroom originally found in Georgia, USA, that are interestingly found growing in woodchip and dung, but are not particularly fussy about the fruiting environment. P. cubensis are generally known to prefer dung as a preferred nutrient source, and Lizard King is a unique departure from this norm. This magic mushroom can also be found growing in northern Mexico, Baja California, western Sonora, and the Chihuahuan desert areas.

Mushroom Spore Features

This popular magic mushroom cultivar is known for its dense, dark brown spore prints. The fruiting caps are often reddish-cinnamon brown, becoming lighter as they mature, with long slender stems that widen at the base.
