Spore Strain Origin

Leucistic Golden Teacher produces beautiful spore prints, presenting a dark brown to yellowish hue. Possibly the most well-known P. Cubensis variety among researchers, the specific origins of “Golden Teacher” remain a mystery. However, several mycologists believe the original specimens came from the gulf coast region of the United States.

Leucistic Golden Teacher in the Wild

Leucistic Golden Teacher magic mushrooms are thought to have originated in the Gulf Coast region of the US. It is highly likely that forgers and hikers will discover these psilocybe cubensis mushrooms often due to their resilience to less than favorable conditions, but less likely to find the leucistic mutation among the flush. Leucistic Golden Teacher mushrooms are prolific growers, frequently producing large flushes.
