NEW! – Colombian Rust, also known as Psilocybe cubensis B Colombian Rust or Psilocybe cubensis Colombian Rust, is a fascinating cultivar in comparison to other p. cubensis strains. It is a mutated strain originating from Colombia, and is said to have ties to PES Amazonian. The ellipsoid shaped spores can be yellow/orange to reddish/brown, which differ from the purple or black spores of other cubensis. When found in the wild, the fruit can be 4 to 12 cm tall with yellow to caramel caps, and gills that present yellow to brown with maturity. Colombian Rust is a wonderful addition to your microscopy and taxonomy library, and is suggested for intermediate to advanced researchers.

Origin: Colombia, South America

Habitat: Bovine, horse dung and enriched soils

Colonization: relatively quick and dense colonization, fruit size up to 4 to 12 cm
