Description
Due east from San Juan, and slightly northwest of the El Yunque National Park, lies Canovanas, and the origin of the Puerto Rican Cubensis. PNW Spore, Co. is excited to offer this new cultivar to our community. With the recognizable golden caramel color of a cubensis, these caps are dome shaped with the edges of the umbrella highlighted in white. Puerto Rican is very rhizomorphic and a fast colonizer in the wild. It thrives in the heat and humidity of the island in bovine dung. These caps leave wonderfully dense prints for future microscopy and taxonomy research!
