Alacabenzi x Avery’s Albino is a very rare and fascinating cross of p. cubensis mushrooms. So, what we have is Alabama crossed with a variety called Mexican Cabenzi, that hybrid crossed with Avery’s Albino (an iso of A+), giving us the unique and exciting Alacabenzi x AA!
Lineage Breakdown:
(Alabama Cubensis x Mexican Cabenzi Cubensis) x Avery’s Albino.
Avery’s Albino is an isolated leucistic mutation of A+ (a classic Cubensis variety bred by mycologist Mr. G., the creator of B+).
This rare hybrid variety shows extremely aggressive colonization and growth patterns. Alacabenzi x Avery’s Albino is highly resistant to common contaminants and produces large fruits with dense cream-colored stems that bruise a vivid blue. Its caps vary in color from light brown to ghostly white with gray gills and purple spore deposits.
Alacabenzi x AA is suitable for spore researchers of all experience levels.
