Stargazer magic mushrooms are one of the oldest known P. Cubensis varieties, and has become one of the rarest over time. They’re known to originate at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, most notably around the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.
Their caps are between one and two inches, convex in shape, changing from reddish-brown to golden brown, to light yellow as they mature. They predominantly grow in clumps on slender cylindrical stems atop of dense rhizomorphs, on decomposing wood in grassy conifer forests. Syringe vs. Print: What's Best?
A spore syringe is a medical-grade syringe filled with mushroom spores suspended in sterilized distilled water; they’re easy to work with and ready for use right out of the box.
A spore print is the direct deposit of spores left by placing a mushroom cap onto a sterile surface like glass, foil, or paper. Prints can be stored long-term and utilized when needed. (Hydration of spores happens when put in a syringe, but there are other uses as well.)
